Beatrice Klose interviewed by INKISH.TV

5 May 2020

Ever wondered how Intergraf influences EU legislation to support the European printing industry? Our Secretary General, Beatrice Klose, connected with INKISH.TV's Morten B. Reitoft on the interview series Over the Skype to answer this very question.

Intergraf is the European federation for print and digital communication. We advocate for printing companies at European level, working closely with the European Union to promote and protect the interests of the European printing industry when relevant legislation is discussed. More-and-more legislation is decided upon at European level, much of which affects printers. From what ink you can use and how companies report their emissions, to employment law and health & safety - EU legislation affects it all. Intergraf works on a wide variety of topics relating to competitiveness, the environment, social policy and the image of print.

The lobbying process for influencing legislation is complex, but essential. Through our relationships with European Commission officials and Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), we make sure the voice of the printing industry is taken into account in EU legislation. This is vital for securing optimal regulatory conditions for printing companies.

Watch the interview to find out more about Intergraf and how we influence EU legislation.
