Energy Efficiency

The EU is aiming for a 20% cut in Europe's annual primary energy consumption by 2020. The European Commission has proposed several measures to increase efficiency at all stages of the energy chain.

In the light of the general efforts to improve energy efficiency, INTERGRAF has compiled a guidebook for its members and their companies which outlines ways to improve energy efficiency in buildings for the printing industry. It serves as toolbox for companies and includes recommended actions. Areas of possible improvement include the insulation of buildings, lighting installations, heating, air conditioning and ventilation, including energy savings with compressed air. The report is available for INTERGRAF members and member companies on request.
