An important facet of Intergraf's work is to collaborate with other European associations in Brussels to achieve our common goals. To these ends, we are a member of many different European networks which deal with different topics. Within these networks, relevant information is shared between associations and lobbying actions are sometimes undertaken as a result of this collaboration. Together, our voices can be louder.

The PIJITF is the Packaging Ink Joint Industry Task Force. The PIJITF represents industries active in the printed packaging value chain from the manufacturers of ink raw materials to food business operators. Policy on food contact materials is of particular relevance to the task force.

The Print Media Group is an informal network representing publishers, printers, paper and envelop manufacturers, postal operators, direct mail operators, advertisers. The group aims to provide European decision makers with an understanding of the sector’s values and the role it plays in culture, society and the economy.

European Solvents Downstream Users Coordination Group

ESVOC is the European Solvents Downstream Users Coordination Group administered by CEFIC sister association on solvents ESIG. ESVOC is a platform for industries along the solvents value chain, including industrial users of solvents. Industrial emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds is one of the topics discussed at ESVOC.

The Industry4Europe Coalition is a group of over 125 associations representing different manufacturing and industrial sectors. The group lobbies the EU to improve their industrial policy and ensure industry remains at the heart of Europe’s competitive output. The campaign was initiated and is administered by UNIFE, the rail manufacturing industry.

Packaging Chain Forum

The Packaging Chain Forum provides a clear and balanced voice in the ongoing review of EU waste legislation. Intergraf has been a member of the platform for a number of years. The forum is managed by EUROPEN, the European organisation for packaging and the environment.

European Employers Network

European Employers Network

Intergraf is a member of BusinessEurope’s European Employers Network (EEN). The network brings together employers organisations from different sectors to share information about their work and actions in Social Dialogue, as well as coordinating the lobbying efforts of industry towards to EU institutions on social policy issues.

EGIN

EGIN is the European Graphic/Media Industry Network, an established forum of co-operation in the areas of education, training, research & development and labour market projects amongst the social partners of 9 countries (Denmark, Germany, Iceland, The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom). Intergraf is an observer of the EGIN Board.

CheMI

CheMI

CheMI is the European Platform for Chemicals Using Manufacturing Industries, representing downstream users' interests in the implementation of the European chemicals legislation REACH. The platform is administered by Intergraf. CheMI represents the interests of European downstream users whose main activity is to incorporate chemical substances and mixtures during the manufacturing process of articles. The platform exchanges about the role and obligations of downstream users under REACH - i.e. managing the safe use of chemicals in the workplace and communicating relevant information to customers/consumers.

BusinessEurope

BusinessEurope is the cross industry social partner representing national business federations at a European level. They are a leading advocate for growth and competitiveness, speaking with one voice to ensure the views of business are taken into account in EU policymaking. Intergraf interacts with BusinessEurope in various ways across many areas of our policy work.
